Jewish. A religion or a race? Jewish egg Doners needed!!

Body: I have had so many debates about this question with so many people. For YEARS I assumed being Jewish, knowingly a religion, was also a race. Reason being, is simply how people and the Jewish community refer to others and themselves. Saying things like, "I have a Jewish family", "I met a nice Jewish boy' "This is food typical of Jewish people", The best one...and forgive my stereotypical comment, but here it goes...

"He/She looks Jewish.
" "Look at her hair, her eyes, her nose, she is definitely Jewish!" "I don't know who it was but they were Jewish"

That to me, sounds like ethnicity not a religion. I am sure we can all stereotype religions, but the whole, she "looks Jewish to me" refers to physical features not clothing, accessories, etc.. So again, confusing!!!

I refer to people, if I have to, by many different aspects and sometimes that would be by race. But, never really religion unless the fact of their religion is relevant. I would never say.. LOL.I cant imagine saying, "Oh that nice catholic woman said hi!" " The Buddhist man is so nice.
" "That guy you know, the Mormon over there!" Even, "OH my GOD! I met a HOTT Catholic guy yesterday!" or " I met this hot, tall, dark and handsome, (cause there is no other type of hot man, lol) Greek" I would probably refer to him just as a "Greek guy!" (I'm just giving examples people! lol )

So Again , I researched and found that NO!!!
Being "Jewish" is only a religion. However, I have attached the definition and explanation to help understand the confusion. And, after reading this, I can understand why myself and others are confused.

Being Jewish is not a race

Being Jewish is not a race because Jews do not share one common ancestry or biological distinction. People of many different races have become Jewish people over the years.

Being Jewish is not a nationality

Being Jewish is not a nationality because Jews have been dispersed throughout the world for almost two thousand years. People of many different nationalities are Jewish.

Being Jewish is like being a citizen of a religious movement

Being Jewish means you are a part of a religious movement. However, the great majority of Jews become a part of the religious movement through birth and not due to their beliefs or actions. In this way, being Jewish is like being a citizen of a religious movement.

A Jewish identity is automatically bestowed on the babies of Jewish mothers (according to Orthodox and Conservative Judaism) and of Jewish mothers or fathers (according to Reform Judaism). This Jewish identity stays with them throughout life even if they don't actively practice Judaism.

If a person is not born Jewish, he/she can undergo the process of conversion to become a Jew. A person who was not born Jewish or has not gone through the conversion process is not considered a Jew even if he or she believes in Judaism and observes Jewish practices. The conversion process is very meaningful because it is the only way for a non-Jew to become Jewish.

Having said all this...HOW COME I READ AN AD today

HUH? Maybe EVEN THEY are confused? If it's not a race and it's coming from a doner...how can they assure the egg is from a Jewish family and what difference would it make? Being Jewish as stated above is in this way:

Being "Jewish" is like being a citizen of a religious movement.

I am a mother of 4. Being raised, say Catholic, does NOT guarantee my child will come out screaming Hail Mary and suck on a ROSARY. SO a Chinese or Polish but Jewish doner is ok? Are thy sure? I am not sure they are thinking of this factor! And if I, blonde hair blue eyes, (bleach blonde, shut up!) walked in and said I am a Jewish woman and would like to donate my eggs? Is that ok? Also, If also the doners are "private" how does it become a part of the religious movement? Jews become a part of the religious movement through birth and not due to their beliefs or actions. I guess it is due to being adopted to the new Jewish family. But again, it isn't a race...does RACE of the Jewish family matter? I think that is more my question.
Can it be an African american Jewish doner?

Maybe I'll just call and ask...hmmmm? Maybe I should.
Then I could update ya'll as to the outcome of our conversation! Get some insight!

If ANYONE has a thought as to why having a JEWISH egg doner is actually necessary...can you please share? The only thing I can think of is that the adoptive family can assure their adoptive baby did not eat pork and was being cared for by a mother who followed a Kosher diet.
Again, I'm confused!

All in fun of course!

I'm to tired to proof read or spell check so this blog 'is what it is" Read my point rather than try to pick apart my grammar, lol

I really wish we could have a way to test voters on the issues and on the candidates before we allowed them to vote.

Forgive me, I may not be the smartest individual, in fact I am pretty far from smart at all. However, I am starting to realize that there are far too many "powerfully ignorant" people in this world dumber than me! The fact we are merely allowing individuals to exercise their right to vote now scares the HELL out of me. Basically any US citizen over 18 can vote. I am OK with that and that isn't my point. My point is, many people shed their blood to allow us this right. But they also shed that same blood so we could make informed decisions thus allowing us to exercise that very same right... the right to VOTE. Why would they do this in order to cast a ballot unless casting that ballots issue was the actual entire reason for giving us the right to vote at all?

Here is an example a 3 year old could understand:
Why would I fight for someone, so that they could go buy a ticket to a movie unless they could actually watch and enjoy it? Handing someone a ticket to go to the movies but just standing there staring at the next guy is pointless. It's not the TICKET (the right to cast a ballet, to VOTE) that's the "right" It is the right to actually reap the benefits of getting that ticket. (watching the movie)
Without the benefits of that movie ticket, the ticket is useless. And as is our RIGHT TO VOTE if we don't understand what we are voting for (thus reaping the benefits of our movie)
(was that a bad example? yeah probably, but I'm tired and writing in circles) If you get my point and want to suggest a better example, PLEASE let me know.

Because we are trying to get this entire Country involved in this years election and the fact that we are BEGGING ANYONE to vote is more harmful than helpful. I think that AN IGNORANT vote is as harmful as not voting at all!

Because this country and its officials know that we tend to base facts on false information, our "oh so different" and FAKE, YES FAKE religious beliefs not to mention, "WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK" is so bothersome. I feel we should implement a new law (and I have no idea how or what that would be) that makes everyone take test on bills, propositions, officials, etc before we cast our vote. I really don't have the entire solution figured out at the moment, but somehow their has to be a way that assures each voter can at least comprehend what they are voting for!

OH CRAP, yeah! That's an entire new issue. We have the facts. No one reads them! And, what's worse...is that inside each fact is a load of BULL SHIT to candy coat the actual issue at hand. Wow, guess there is no solution. Unless you are smart enough to pick it apart and pull out and research each issue, and I'll admit, is almost impossible to do at times, you can't make an informed decision!

You know, this realization came to me the first time in VEGAS out of all places. I always knew their were ignorant people who just base their opinion because they are DUMB but it wasn't until this trip where the light went back on. In Vegas, I met, at the pool, in our bathing suits, sipping mojito's, a cute girl from Wisconsin. I noticed her cute tattoo on the back of her neck of sissor's. (implying she was a cosmetologist) After complimenting it we started chit chatting. Joe was telling her how much I really wanted to do hair for a living as it is my passion. She had a tiny diamond nose stud as well and some pretty nice size implants too, lol..

We started talking about random things but then somehow politics came up. She said that she really liked Obama's campaign so far but unfortunately she JUST CAN"T EVER IMAGINE VOTING FOR A BLACK MAN. WHAOOOOOOOOAAA HUHHHHHHHHHHHHH? WHAT? Are Fricken kidding me? Wasn't this an issue early on in the campaign? Wasn't this an issue that somehow I even forgot WAS AN ISSUE? I guess I forgot he was black because I am now so incredibly focused on the current economic crisis of our country. Is it because we live in California and a metropolitan city? I mean, she is from Wisconsin. BUT SHE HAD TATTOOS< class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_24">PIERCING AND FAKE BOOBS! She certainly wasn't the ultra conservative woman who I could expected this ignorance from. She was a wife and mother of 2 or 3 boys who owns a salon and was on a trip with all girls in Vegas. She also said a lot of her friends who were gay, moved away because it isn't accepted in her City/State to be gay. She said she didn't have a problem with them being gay but that is JUST HOW IT IS THERE!!! She said too, that her family would never allow a "black man" in office.

Wow. I am ignorant too I guess. I really thought very, very few people still made that a valid point when determining their decision. I'm sad because people still think this way. But, I think I am more sad because I FORGOT how big the U.S. is and how many backward thinking people are out there. Being in California I forget that there is a higher % of people in other states that agree with this girl and her family. what makes me sadder than that is, she will base her vote, which will affect me and you, her and her family, on issues she does not TRULY and HONESTLY feel are right. She would rather continue to "oppress" our Country by basing her vote on those around her because she is to afraid to stand up and say what she really feels. She won't try to educate others on her views as they so willingly force on her and SHE WILL NOT EVEN GO BEHIND A CLOSED CURTAIN IN PRIVACY and vote for what she believes in because she is afraid to against the majority! I kinda want to smack her right now :P

I can assure you who read this that though you and I may have different views, I Tell you my true feelings and opinions. I base those feeling and opinions on FACTS people You can debate me and I am always open to that. Just know I am not afraid of expressing myself as so many others are. I will not give you my ignorant opinion of false facts merely because the white old man next door, the lesbian down the street or the woman with AIDS told me to that I should "feel" that way. I can also assure you that I will not be voting because MTV told me to and I just felt the need to "Rock the VOTE"

I know that all I can do is now, is try my best to help this Country, its people and in fact this entire WORLD, (since every decision the US makes effect the rest of the world as we all know and Vice Verse) by Voting.

Do this WORLD a favor, don't bother voting unless you understand what you are truly voting for! Otherwise, the vote you almost didn't make, will hurt YOU more. Just Don't vote.

Tot Mom, an eye for an eye

This should be on my e blog page but I could not help but to post here too!

My tv is either on children programing, VHI1, Comedy channel, E! or CNN. Now , I can't watch CNN much because after I watch all my world news and politics, this Caylee Anthony "Tot Mom" story comes on and I get physically ill. This tot mom ordeal really makes me want to vomit! I can not believe a person, human, let alone a MOTHER do this.

Regardless of a trial, this woman killed or sold her child. This is another Scott Peterson trial awaiting. (I remember exactly what I was doing when the breaking news came on about Lacy Peterson. When they told the only facts they knew, hrs after the initial call of her missing, I knew damn well that sick man killed her and their unborn child) Call it tuition or a sixth sense but I know and they STILL can't prove for FACT that he killed her.

Fortunately, but sometimes unfortunately we have a legal system we have to abide by. (Aren't their times we wish we didn't) It'sFUCKING obvious this mother had either sole responsibility in her disappearance or was an accomplice. All the facts that have come through, besides the DNA or sadly enough, the child's body, scream, "hey! I'm a sociopath. An evil, disgusting excuse for a human soul, splitting image of Satan himself" alone.

(wow, my spell check corrected me, when spelling SATAN, it requires a capital S, WTF! Even satan gets a capital? Well, ok, but that whore of a mother doesn't deserve a capital in her first name, that's for sure)

Anyone who sends their children away and does not acknowledge them or the fact they may be in danger (maybe even ummmmmmm......missing) does not deserve the title of a mother let alone anything but the death penalty.

If you don' want to be a mother as if this woman clearly has proven she decided she did not, please do the right thing and send them to someone who can. If I knew this woman, I have to say...to all my friends...an eye for an eye. That bitch would not make it to trial.

Enough said, I'm going to go puke now...nite!

I just can not find the words to express my utter shock with Palins anouncement today. I plan on doing more research on her stance with traditional American Values but certainly they can not condone a working mom of 5 running a state while her daughter is making whoopi! I do feel her pain as a mother and human being since this has to be hard for her and her family. But, while I am pro choice and would SADLY support my child in her decision, I would have to question what I did wrong in guiding her decision to have sex in the fisrt place. ( I am a mother of 4 daughters! 4!!!) I am scared to death for their impending teen years. I was not a perfect obiding child myself. I made many, many mistakes and bad bad choices in my teen years (hell, I should run for office) and that is what drives me to be a stronger mother than I probably would have been if I had't gone through so much! Never thought my bad decisions would make me a better mother. I sit her and think, Wow, I sacraficed myself without even knowing it would make me a stronger person!1

I vow to be very involved with every aspect that I can possibly be in my childrens teen years. (parenting does not stop at 18, parenting is the job of a lifetime) It is my responsibility to be there for my children. It doesnt stop in pre school and hell I gets harder every year. I keep my children close, VERY CLOSE. I will keep them as close as I can for as long as I can! I know, I may smother them, and thats not Ok either. Hell, I sit hear and think...can I be so certain. No. I can't. But if something happened...

Somewhere, I have failed. Oh yeah, their dad would have been a part of that failure too! Im not taking all the heat! No way! lol

While I agree not every child is is the same nor easy to parent, I also agree I can not control every decision they make. I find it odd, that in living in a traditional family loving home, close knit and very aware of my mothers stance on pre marital sex, that this child could have been listening to her own mother. Who was guiding her? Who was she listening to while her mother was education her classmates on abstinace? Blah!

Let me break here for a minute!

Jesus! let me make a quick point! As I am trying to write this, my 3 year old is sitting next to me on the bed, pretending she is reading her 11 year old sisters "American's Girls" series of books on "A Smart Girls Guide to Boys' LMAO. And she is reading out loud in my ear! No, she can't read, she is making things up as she goes a long with her finger. I love that she loves books and is trying. HOWEVER! We just got home from San Francisco, 4 hours in the car, she slept all the way home. It is 8:40 pm, she will not sleep until 11 pm! I am exhausted, she is talking non stop and I can not gather my thoughts enough to write a simple blog on my personal feelings. UHHHH! I asked her 3 times, to "shhhhhhhhhhhhh, mommy is reading too"! She is telling me "I can read too! I'm BIG"!!!! in her snotty little know it all way, ( I adore her, I do)

UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, I want to write my thoughts, I can't focus! GODDDDDDDDDD! SHHHHHHHHHH, I love her, but she talks all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If her sisters aren't here...who is her playmate? You got it! ME!!!!! And if my 3 others were here, maybe they would entertain eachother. (except for the predictable 15 minute interludes of arguments I have to help solve of course) So hmmm...Are you kidding me? Imagine me trying to make an executive decision! Ha, my husband constantly gets confused on who I am talking to when I have a household full of 5 people trying to get my attention at the same time. Yeah, I manage. But when I do, I respond and no one knows which one I'm talking to. So, occasionally, I get "well, you said yes!" When actually I didn't I was talking to the other little monster next to you! Lol, Wow!

Will Palin allow someone else to raise her children? VP is no 9-5 job! She isnt going home for dinner, baths and homework! Her job would be 24/7 for the next 4 years possibly. Who else has worked from home while raising children....What a joke this is?

I bet my husband that she will resign. Not on her terms, of course. Mc Cain can not take back his decision to save face (and his own presidential vote) I betcha she will be "forced" to sep back and allow another VP choice! At least I hope for the Republican party. For the Democratic party...lets hope che satys long enough to debate Biden! Lol

Her poor family. I actually feel sorry for her! I feel pity for her! I don't think she thought it through before she accepted or maybe with all the hormones she is experiencing she thought she could actually do it!

Blah, off to make Mac n Cheese! AND THAT IS AN EXECUTIVE DESICION

Good night folks, and God Bless! :P

Palin, Bi Polar and still lactating!

This following blog was not written by me. Because I want to share and it to make sure you'll read it, I am attaching the link and also pasting on my blog in case you don't get a chance to go to the website. Made me laugh. I am new at blogging and do not know if their are rules to re posting someone else's written thoughts. However, I am again, letting you know that this is not my writing, but I share her thoughts!

I was also thinking. with all those kids...she was more than likely on maternity leave during her time in office. can you imagine what a hormonal mess she would have been pregnant? If she was a great public officer while she was pregnant she certainly will be a different woman after or vice versa Bah!

You've Got To Be Seriously Kidding Me!

Welcome to Sarah Palin is a Joke....seriously. When I found out that John McCain nominated this former airhead runnerup for the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant for Vice President of the United States, I just couldn't help myself. I had to purchase the domaine.

What we have here is the final act of the Peter Principle. I'm sure John McCain was far too busy to read the book while he was getting plastered at the 19th Hole to read the Peter Principle. Dr. Lawrence Peter was a full professor at USC during the 1950's. He wrote a series of books entitled The Peter Principle. His theory was that in any organization, people rise to the highest level of their own incompetence.

In other words, people who are filled with their own self-importance and suffer from grandiosity and feelings of grandeur, will project that to other people and be promoted and back stab their way to the top, entirely blind sighted and unaware that they are totally incompetent to handle the job. Once there, they will fail miserably and cause the collapse of the entire organization, like George Bush.

George Bush was never the creme of the crop at any university. George Bush is the idiot son of a former president, who was also an idiot. The United States is full of idiots filled with their own grandiosity. It's a nation without a figurehead therefore, it's every man for themselves. The United States isn't a democracy at all. It's tyranny of the majority and those in charge are the fat that rose to the top.

Bureaucracies and organizations, and world democracies are defective in that respect. They can't sustain themselves over time. The United States is going out of business. This is the hallmark event of a failing organization. The management team is floundering because they're incompetent to actually manage the United States. We see it all the time in business, especially on Wall Street. Companies hire the wrong CEO all day long and suffer from it later.

The economy of the United States is the stock price. Bear Stearns just crashed. Bear Stearns was a US Bank that was in business for over 100 years. Bear Stearn's stock went from $100 a share to $2.00 a share in a day. The stock price of the United States is going to be delisted.

I'm sick to death of the stupidity. I was very politically active in my lifetime. I was never successful at actually speaking directly to these stupid stupid people who run for office. I also have a lot of experience in Hollywood. They can't make it as celebs, so they run for office.

Beauty pageants have always been a single's event for noxious politicos. There's no better arm candy than a botox laden ex-beauty queen. Putting Sarah Palin anywhere near the White House is as close as it gets to Girls Gone Wild. She may as well pull up her T-shirt. Ever since her nomination, the comments from the popular media and their hand picked journalists have been "isn't she refreshing." The media found the buzzword a long time ago. Let's call her "refreshing".

I hope other working mothers aren't going to fall for this. Sarah Palin is an aging beauty queen. She's one of these women who always has to be the center of attention, has a big mouth, and lives on the laurels of her glory days.

This morning CNBC's Maria Bartelona, who sits like a hen on Wall Street talking about deep sea drilling with companies like RIG, complimented Sarah Palin as being well read, and gave her a thumbs up on her expertise on the environment simply because she knows the acreage of a drill site in Alaska. CNBC is about making money on investments. There is no journalist working at CNBC that ever took a class in environment studies.

Maria: Environmental Studies is an academic department at every major university. People spend their entire lives studying the effects of tampering with the environment.

Sarah Palin is a mouthpiece for an agenda. Sarah Palin is one of many refreshing new governors who are Federalists, not governors. They could give a shit for their home state. They're all out promoting the Federal agenda. That's why the Governor of Minnesota is a senior advisor to a Senator from Arizona.

This is a time when we have to reflect back on the original Constitutional Convention. There was a great debate where these gentlemen knocked their heads together trying to come up with a government. They just tossed the idea of democracy around but weren't that sure how to install one. Basing a government on popular vote wasn't considered a real good idea.

The emerging United States was a popular subject for British journalists who flocked here on every ship headed West. According to some of the entries in historic journals, the Revolutionaries were actually holding people hostage. It wasn't so much a revolution as it was a hijacking. Once they were in control of the population, they had to draw up a government and they were a little pressured on time.

So they took the theory of the British Constitution and actually wrote it down. The British Constitution isn't written down. It's a theory of civilization that relies heavily on the inherent goodness of every human being and the legal theory of contracts that emerged from the Magna Carta. I bet John McCain and Sarah Palin didn't know that. What the Founding Fathers did was set up the "Little Red Schoolhouse" version of the British Constitution.

The British knew that the United States would fail eventually because nobody who ever participated in the Revolution read History at Cambridge. They were politicos and opportunists. They drew up a theory of freedom and democracy for every man, then when back to their homes where their slaves cooked them dinner. They could have declared freedom for slaves the day they signed the Constitution.

If you look at the proportions of taking on the British Crown and getting your name on the hit list vs. freeing the slaves when you sign the Constitution, there was relatively little fallout in comparison. The repercussions of freeing slaves immediately after taking on the British Crown, are non-existent. You simply free the slaves and that's it. The fact that they didn't take the opportunity in 1776 to free the slaves, speaks to their reputation as civilized human beings. These were men who invoked God in their prayers and enslaved their fellow man.

They set up a faulty Constitution that didn't even protect the basic rights of every human being. Two hundred and fifty years later, the stupidity of the organization gives rise to the greatest stupidity it's ever seen. A beauty queen with a college degree who can't figure out if she's going to stay home and raise her children, or run around the planet promoting herself as a world leader.

The argument of the Convention was basically that people on the whole, are incapable of voting in their own best interest. That's referred to as the Tyranny of the Majority. It sounds good, but in fact, people on the whole are naive when it comes to belief. People will believe anything. People have made fortunes on the false beliefs of others. Popular vote was never considered an effective way to determine leadership. (Rousseau's "Social Contract")

Lots of unqualified people will gladly step up and run for office. That's called "opportunism". There are people out there who are clearly not qualified to hold public office, but they seek out the "opportunity" when it's offered. People like Sarah Palin clearly will take any opportunity to hold themselves out as qualified, when in fact, she is not. She actually believes she is qualified. It's a psychosis. If she faces the fact that she isn't qualified in any clinical setting, she'll lose her confidence. Confidence is the key. People who are over-confident are in fact, afraid of confronting their own inadequacies.

Sarah Palin was elected Governor of Alaska in a popularity contest. She lives in a place where everyone is exactly like Sarah Palin. In theory, any of them could have elected themselves governor.

Many people are elected Governor in the United States, and have relatively little to back it up, like academic credentials for instance. You send your children to schools and colleges to get an education. It's hard to get a college degree. It's even harder to get a law degree or a PhD in Philosophy.

In civilized countries, we generally look toward colleges and universities for our leaders. I have a college degree too. Lots of people have college degrees. Sarah Palin saw her college degree as a free ticket instead of a diploma. Real academics pursue their graduate degrees and go on to actually contribute.

Being Governor of any State is a fairly easy mission to accomplish. All you need is high profile backing. Show up at all the charity events or stage yourself in a setting with the popular media. Hulk Hogan did it.

Here in California, we are burdened with an Austrian nut job who went to Santa Monica City College then transferred to a 4 year school and got a degree in Economics. Don't quote me, I'm not sure exactly what he got his degree in. Then he married not the brightest Kennedy in the bunch and next thing we know, he's flying in his private jet back and forth from Hollywood to Sacramento puffing on his cigars.

The State of California can't meet it's own budget. They are firing teachers right and left, cutting back education, and the State employees were told they get minimum wage. They had a walk-out at the Dept. of Motor Vehicles for a few days so nobody could register their car. California is a mess, but of course, it's always been a mess.

People will always step forward that are not qualified, but in their own minds, they are the star of their own reality TV show. The Presidency is not a reality TV show. The only reason Sarah Palin is even the Governor, is that she has the high profile glamour of a rootin' tootin' woman who can drink any man under the table, and gall-durn it, she's a heck of a gal who can shoot a moose and crack open a bottle of beer with her teeth. Lumberjacks and bikers love a woman who can get dirty.

Women know other women. Men don't know women the way women know women. As girls, we all played with each other. We know who isn't playing with a straight deck by the time we get to high school. I met a lot of Sarah Palins. These type of women bat their eyelashes and run people over with a steamroller. They're always in charge of somebody or something. They are the stor of their own hit Broadway extravaganza. Sarah Palin is smiling with her pearly whites and warming up her steamroller.

Sarah Palin isn't sure what she wants. First she wanted to be a beauty queen, and then she was an Indian Princess, and then she's shooting moose. She obviously read that hallmark of American literature "Call of the Wild" and paddled her canoe up into the Bering Straits, and the next thing you know, she's off on her next bi-polar adventure.

Lady, if you want a political career, try to target your life to it. At least have a little decorum about it. Condoleeza went to Stanford and plays a half decent piano concerto. She didn't run out and have kids and take on a family, then show up at the Hague with a diaper bag and ask her kids to wait in the car. Lady, choose something and try to stick with it. You're taking the "World Peace" tag line from every beauty pageant a little too far.

When I saw her husband and children for the first time, the husband looked henpecked and disoriented, the children looked like they wanted to ask mom to come home. Sarah Palin is a wack job at everything she does. If she really was a mother in the tradition of mothers, she wouldn't drag her children into an uncomfortable arena where their lives are first of all, guarded by the secret service, and second, where their own mother is the star of her own show. Sarah Palin is the worst possible example of a loving mother.

No loving mother packs up her son and sends him into a war zone with a kiss on the cheek and have a nice day. No loving mother grandstands herself and sends her son off to war for a few bonus points with the public. Sending your son off to war is a personal affair not a media event. Sarah Palin makes me vomit.

Sarah Palin is waiting for her tiara and roses at the end of the runway. "There she is......Miss Vice President.....". Sarah Palin is at the very best, the best example of the Peter Principle; a person who rose to the highest levels of her incompetence and intends to take it straight to the moon where every lunatic goes on their own honeymoon. Sarah Palin is truly Gone With The Wind, the spoiled brat daughter of the Confederacy.

More to Come.

I never realized how much I cared~

After following watching McCain's ridiculous announcement for Vice President Palin, I was again, at a loss for words.

I am a mother. A Wife. A small business owner. I am not perfect nor guilt free. I am a semi liberal American. Yes, I am for Obama, only because I have educated my self about each candidate and Obama/Biden are the logical choices in my opinion. I am open for debate but ultimately, my decision has been made.

I am for women rights and equality. I believe we, as women are strong and can be effective leaders and do not ALWAYS run on raw emotions. However...I believe in certain instances, women are not always equal. I believe a woman could run the country given her experience dedication, beliefs and values. I feel Hillary could have been a great leader of the united States. I believe she is capable of so much more than she is given credit for. She has the experience and HER CHILD IS GROWN. Hillary took the hire road when her husband had an affair and mockery of their marriage. Who can do that? No it's not traditional and it was not right. But god damn, if she didn't publicly bash her husband, leave him, EC.. they say what doesn't kill you can make you stronger. she is one tough woman. That woman can run my Country!

Palin is no Hillary. Are you kidding me? Has McCain lost his marbles. While he figured it would be a smart move to choose this ultra conservative, woman, mother, wife, Governor of flippen ALASKA out of all states to regain the women voters, he just proved his inability to to make a sound decision for our Country. She just had her 5th child! My god, OK 5 children, but just gave birth. She certainly isn't getting a full nights sleep nor can we e sure her hormones are back to normal :whatever that is" As a Middle American, one can barley raise a family of 5 let alone have a mother and/or a father working full time. Based on the fact they are for strong family values, how can a mother of 5 raise a strong family while possibly acting as vice president...or worse President?!

McCain just turned 72~~~As VP, she would never be home! She'd be running all over the country, hell, the world! Where will her children be? Either home being raised by someone other than their MOTHER or worse, dragged around the Country, world! Maybe they will be running around the White House! How will she balance family, motherhood and work? Shit! I can hardly work an 8 hour day with my children! Funny, as Michelle Obama is working to help working mothers of America balance. LOL, maybe she can give Palin some good advice. Like stepping down and being a mother.

Let my child have a meltdown and I am off to the office in a fowl mood taking out on the next person that says hello! How can she possibly be an effective mother at this most important time in her children's lives. Her children are young and regardless of anything elsse, the fact is she is busy and I can guaruntee you she will be an unstable mess. I am sure this woman means well, but I don't think she is the ideal running mate. I feel McCain made a horrible decision and I think it will hurt her and her family as well as the American people if elected.

Again, I am a mother and I am for women's rights and working moms. However, Vice President of Bank of America or is a tad different than VP of America.

A little about me...

I am loving, compassionate, genuine and trustworthy. I am loyal and I fight for what I beleive in. I don't take NO for an answer. I am learning that I am an overly trusting person to begin with and am more likely to be let down by people than not. I am an extrovert and very social. I can start and maintain meaningful conversations with almost any person in any situation at any time. I am hopeful and an optimist. I beleive people can change. I beleive we are all ready for a change!

I am not patient nor very forgiving, unless it is with my own children. I am ditsy and always have a million things on my mind at once. I am forgetful, yet extremely organized. Everything has to have it's place. My house is always spotless and must be in order before I go to bed. I am always planning and typically the one hosting, not typically...always, social events with friend and families. I hate driving. I am afraid of flying, but I manage. I refuse to go on a cruise as I have a fear my children will fall in the Ocean over the side of the ship or we will sink while we are sleeping. I can swim yet I am afraid of water in which I can not see through. I refuse to get old, but I have no choice in the matter. I work out, play tennis, jog, plates, anything that can keep me active as the years creep up and the metabolism slows down :( I'm simple. Little things make me happy. I don't need material things in life to define me or satisfy my insecurities. I truly feel, most people who feel the need to talk about their success and show it off through material things are the most unhappy. Modesty says so much more.
I am slowly finding out that not only education, but life experiences have taught me life's toughest lessons as well. I have a desire to learn about almost everything, but sometimes get discouraged when I can't comprehend. (it's a learning disability, lol) I don't apologize and I have a hard time communicating when it comes to my own personal faults...
I teach my children to be better than me and also that life isn't always fair. My children are spoiled only because they work hard at being amazingly wonderful children. so in a sense, I think they deserve it. Any other times..not so much!
They also know that what they get and receive in life is only because they earned it (lol)
